Food was good and I have nothing but very very good memories from this trip. Everything was perfect during 2 days, liked its excellent location very close to Marloth Park, the Kruger jungle and shops in Komatipoort. Every staff member was really helpful and amazingly attentive. Had a spacious and beautiful room with balcony and double beds for 4 persons, as for instance, and I couldn't ask for more. There were coffee and tea making equipment, and a refrigerator upon arrival. Excellent services were available. Besides, I parked outside

The room was clean & the food was good.
There was a lot of misrepresentation. Not all the rooms have private balconies, only 2 have balconies and they are above the dining area. Not very private. We booked on the belief that we would have a balcony and were dissapointed not to get one. There is no hairdryer in the room & the fully stocked bar fridge had two bottles of water & nothing else. The staff whilst being very friendly became over attentive to the point of annoying. Grand Kruger Lodge facilitates games drives that are undertaken by the KNP, they do not offer game drives. Also according to their website, if you go on a night drive a food platter awaits your return. Not true. Nobody knew anything about such platter. I will never stay at Grand Kruger Lodge again because of the fact that they do not live up to what is offered on their website.

The hotel is in an incredible position, making it comfortable to stay in that area. the room was spotless and absolutely gorgeous with a balcony, just as expected. A nice pool and parking are also available. There was no charge for the wake-up service and ironing, which was convenient. Its location is close to Marloth Park, bordering Kruger National Park, and shops in Komatipoort.

Very friendly staff and excellent safari guide
Food and restaurant service needs to improve to match the 4* standard in what respects service and food quality/offer. This is particularly relevant when offering a half board package.

Very nice hotel located only 10 klms from crocodile gate in a parc where you can see wild animals Small hotel well equipped and nicely decorated The food is good. We had a nice room with a nice terrace nice place to rest after some days in the Kruger parc The staff is very nice and very helpful we really appreciate being able to talk and exchange at night around a very nice fire !
The price of the breakfast r120 a little expensive for what they propose in exchange of the price The price of the extra activities , the game drive even is it is a long day game drive drive it is too high for a family (over r800 per person )

Our stay at Grand Kruger Lodge was absolutely wonderful! We felt right at home thanks to the friendly staff. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. One highlight was when we requested to see a traditional dance, and the staff dressed up in their traditional attire and danced for us. It was a truly special experience. The location of the lodge was also great, as it was just a short drive to the Crocodile Bridge and we were able to explore the park easily. The quad bike activity outside the park was a must-do and added an extra thrill to our trip. The food was delicious, and they even catered to our vegetarian needs. our experience at Grand Kruger Lodge was excellent.

Fact that what was meant to be a relaxing time for my wife's recuperation turned to be nothing like the pictures posted. Could not venture outside at night due to a family of warthogs living under the veranda and a feeling of being cut off from the world,no in house phonenor television.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the nearby cities and attractions. The staff here was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. They even went the extra mile and performed their traditional dance for us. The food was delicious, with a variety of options for vegetarians like us. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel also had a beautiful spa and wellness center, where we indulged in relaxing treatments. The swimming pool and sun terrace were a great place to unwind and enjoy the lovely weather. this place exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, service, and atmosphere.
This hotel is highly recommended to all our family and friends.
